I spent my childhood in Broadstairs, playing on the beach, and with it's quaint charm, the town provided a historical and picturesque setting for my shop and hospital. We have now moved, in 2016,  to new premises in Cliftonville, just 4 miles from our original site.
 

You will get a very personal service and discover some very special bears.  We have customers from all over the world.

Why not come down for a weekend break and combine the mini holiday with a visit to the shop?  There are plenty of small hotels and guest houses to stay in, good eating places and interesting and unique shops.

We collect Teddy Bears (amongst other things!) and are regular visitors to "Bee Antiques".  What we find is that there is always something new to look at, from Vintage Teddies and Dolls to Victorian Collectables.
Sadly, we had a few forlorn fellows in our bear collection without eyes and a bit lacking in the stuffing department!  Fortunately, we were able to rush them over to Jane's "Teddy Hospital", where she administered sympathetic treatment.  Now our chaps each have their full compliment of optical receptors, nice plump tums and delightful expressions.
There is always a warm welcome in "Bee Antiques" and Jane is always happy to answer any bear related questions we have, for example value or identification.
We thoroughly recommend "Bee Antiques" to those who enjoy a leisurely browse through interesting items from the past in a friendly atmosphere.

I just wanted to say so much for repairing Dodo the Dodo!
He was in such terrible condition with his poor face all frayed but now he really does look as good as new. He originally belonged to my husband when he was a child and now my daughter is enjoying his company. Dodo was obviously very well looked after when in your care and we are so very grateful for the treatment he received.
