1. What materials do you use? |
|
I use
whatever the original fabric of the bear would have been.
This is usually mohair for the older bears, felt for the pads
or linen, as near as possible to the original for the correct
colour.
We use
glass eyes or Victorian boot buttons (depending on what the
original would have been). The eyes are carefully
matched so that they are the correct colour and size for the
bear.

2. How can I get a quote? |
|
Send me
your email picture or bring your bear into the shop and I will
give you a free quote. Our prices are reasonable.
|
3. Do I have to come into the shop or can I send the bear for
repair? |
|
You can
bring your bear into the shop (please phone first to make sure
I am there) or you can send him by post, but please phone
first to make sure I am willing to undertake the work.
To
owners that live a long way away:
Don't
let this put you off, bears like a little outing, especially
if they have not been out of the house for a few years,
they really love going to the seaside for a day!
|
4. How long will it take? |
|
It
depends on how much work I currently have, but it will never
be rushed, I take great care in my repairs, it could be 2
weeks or more, depending on my workload. I will phone
you when the bear is ready for collection. All bears are
fully insured.
|
5. Is there a guarantee? |
|
I like
all my customers to be satisfied, so if you are not happy with
any of my repairs, please contact me and I will endeavour to
rectify the problem.
Customer satisfaction and personal recommendation are my
priorities (and happy bears). We have many happy
customers who refer us to others and return year after year. |

Note:
If your bear needs repair, and you get this done, it is a fact
that he or she will last another generation, thereby providing
pleasure to your family and prolonging his life. It will
also increase his value. |
